When they get a challenging diagnosis, many of our patients struggle to make ends meet. Cone Health understands the stress that financial challenges can cause — and we know that stress is a barrier to recovery. In addition, our care providers know that 80% of what makes their patients healthy are factors outside clinical care, which is why support from licensed clinical social workers, registered dietitians, spiritual companions, healing arts programs and other resources is so important.
One of the most distressing health challenges we face is the complex issue of behavioral health disorders and drug addiction. Programs like Adrienne's Fund mobilize community members around finding local solutions to a problem that's reached a national crisis point.
Donors can also provide comfort and hope to community members facing disease through services like Patient Assistance Funds and Alight Integrative Care. Alight Integrative Care Program Fund

Heart & Vascular Patient Care Fund
Provides vital support for heart failure patients by helping them access the resources they need to manage their condition and improve their quality of life. This fund assists with essential needs, support services and specific programming – removing barriers to care and empowering patients to take control of their health journey.
