Building the future of health together

The Campaign for Healthy Communities is shaping a new era of care built on prevention, access and connection.
The Campaign for Healthy Communities began with a challenge to ourselves and our community:
Excellent health care should reach everyone, everywhere.
With the right focus, we can shift from managing sickness to creating wellness.
Together, we have the power to make our region one of the healthiest in the Southeast.
In a short period of time, we have launched a movement. This campaign is about transforming how health care works.
In just two and a half years, donors and community partners have fueled $35 million in measurable impact. New facilities, programs and partnerships are redefining care — from prevention-first heart health to school-based telehealth that keeps kids learning. Community health workers are connecting families to care and resources in the neighborhoods where they live. Mobile medicine units are reaching thousands more people with essential screenings and support.
These milestones are just the beginning. As we look ahead, the campaign’s next chapter will build on this momentum — advancing health equity, expanding access and strengthening the workforce that makes it all possible. With a new goal of $55 million, we’re deepening our commitment to prevention, connected care and the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to live well.
This next phase will bring new investments in maternal and fetal health, expand mobile medicine, and develop the Chavis Health Hub — a trusted community anchor offering care, education and resources close to home. It will also grow the Cone Health Heart and Vascular Center for Prevention and expand our innovative CMA Academy and workforce initiatives to ensure every patient receives exceptional, personalized care.
